Are you ready to take on the role of Rotating Equipment Engineer for one of our major clients in The Hague, Netherlands? As a Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and optimization of gas compression and power generation systems, ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.
Role Overview Support Operations Department: Provide service preparedness for heavy rotating equipment. Monitor Turbo Machines: Daily monitoring of figures and behavior to ensure power generation and gas compression. Prepare Maintenance Work Orders: Based on OEM and the group directives. Organize Major Overhauls: Plan and coordinate major overhauls and service exchanges for rotating equipment. Troubleshoot Equipment: Execute root cause analysis and provide recommendations for trade-related equipment failures and breakdowns. Maintain High Standards: Report and maintain high availability and reliability figures in line with HQ and TEPNL objectives. Execute Specialist Activities: Support and execute specialist activities offshore, including inspections, service exchanges, and equipment repair. Review Inspection Reports: Evaluate and act based on inspection reports such as borescope inspections, vibration analyses, and condition monitoring. Improve Operations: Identify opportunities for optimization and innovation in compression and power generation operations. Skills & Qualifications Gas Compression Knowledge: Strong knowledge of gas turbines, centrifugal process gas compressors, and their auxiliaries. Gas Turbine Know How: Must have experience with gas turbines. Centrifugal Compressor Know How: Experience with centrifugal compressors preferred. Instrumentation and Controls Expertise: Familiarity with PLC controls, instrumentation, and decision making. Safety and Health Focus: Consider the highest level of safety and health in all activities. Environmental Awareness: Protect the environment and report any HSE anomalies. Offshore Experience: Previous experience working offshore preferred. Excellent Communication: Fluent in English, Dutch language skills preferred. Education & Experience Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in heavy rotating equipment maintenance. Specific Skills: Strong knowledge of turbo machinery, pumps, compressors, PLC controls, instrumentation, and decision making. Languages: Fluent in English, Dutch language skills preferred.
