We are seeking motivated and talented engineers who are recent graduates or have less than 3 years of experience to join our Rotation Program. This program is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to various aspects of the battery energy storage industry, including sales engineering, design, testing, installation, commissioning and life cycle. The successful candidates will rotate through different departments, gaining hands-on experience and developing a well-rounded skill set.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that can work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. The candidate should thrive in a fast paced, constantly changing environment while the industry and company go through substantial growth. The location for this position is Herndon, Virginia. This will be a onsite role.
Responsibilities:
Participate in a structured rotation program, spending time in different departments such as Sales Engineering, Product Development, Project Engineering, Field Services, and Life Cycle Team. Assist in the design and development of battery energy storage systems, including system architecture, component selection, integration and Testing. Conduct testing and validation of energy storage systems to ensure performance, safety, and reliability. Support project engineering teams in the planning, execution, and commissioning of energy storage projects. Collaborate with the proposal team to support sales efforts, including preparing technical proposals and responding to customer inquiries. Work with the life cycle team to ensure the long-term performance and reliability of energy storage systems, including maintenance and upgrades. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Recent graduate or up to 3 years of relevant work experience. Strong interest in the battery energy storage industry and renewable energy technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning. Strong analytical and technical skills, with attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to travel and work in different locations as required by the rotation program. Previous internship or co-op experience in a related field is a plus. Team player attitude Able to travel up to 40%.
