SUMMARY:
We are seeking to hire a highly qualified Third Country National (TCN) for our Rotor Wing Maintenance Test Pilot position located in Peru. The Rotor Wing Maintenance Test Pilot will perform Maintenance Test Flights in accordance with the Maintenance Test Flight Checklist, while assessing aircraft performance and handling to evaluate airworthiness after maintenance or modifications. The Rotor Wing Maintenance Test Pilot will plan flight assignments and obtain information regarding the purpose of the flight, weather, operating procedures and special instructions. In addition, they will prepare or supervise preparation of flight plans, considering such factors as altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight, cruise data, airport facilities and navigational aids. This position is located in Peru.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct test flights and validate aircraft airworthiness upon completion of maintenance or modifications.Analyze meteorological data for filing a flight plan for the required navigational course of a mission or sortie.File flight plans for all flights using approved navigational processes.Calculate weight and balance logs for the aircraft being flown.Initiate and complete all flight or maintenance forms to document maintenance test flight completion and note any discrepancies.Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to troubleshoot and advise on aircraft maintenance.Assess the airworthiness of aircraft according to relevant publications and procedures before releasing them for flight.Perform recovery flights and ferry aircraft to additional sites as required.Troubleshoot aircraft, subsequently making necessary write-ups or giving verbal instructions to correct deficiencies.Conduct aircraft run-ups as required for maintenance actions.Be capable of performing Aircraft Technical Inspection, TI as an additional duty.Plan and conduct detailed aircraft technical inspections.Provide technical guidance on aircraft and subsystem maintenance techniques and safety procedures.Maintain current knowledge of changes and additions to all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, SOPs and essential documentation integral to contract operations.Maintain Night Vision Goggle, NVG currency and instrument proficiency, performing duties as Pilot, Pilot-in-Command, Maintenance Pilot, Air Mission Commander, and or Flight Lead as required.Execute additional aviation duties and responsibilities as assigned.#LI-SA1

Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate, or foreign aviation medical certificate equivalent.FAA Commercial and Instrument Airman's Certificate Rotorcraft, or foreign aviation license equivalent.FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.Qualification in the UH-60 A/L/M, SH-60 Series, MH-60 series or HH-60 series.Documented civil or military Maintenance Test Pilot (MP), Functional Check Pilot (FP) course completion.1,500 total rotary wing flight hours including 500 hours of turbine engine time.Night Vision Goggle (NVG) qualified and 300 hours of NVG experience.50 hours Maintenance Test Pilot/Functional Check Pilot time in H-60 series aircraft.250 hours flight time, in category, within the past 5 years.Obtain and maintain US MRPT clearance.Ability to travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS; may include remote or isolated sites.Strong English speaking and written communication skills.Host nation language proficiency per contract requirement - LATAM countries: Spanish Level 2 in both Listening and Reading (L2/R2)Preferred:
FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.Exposure to military operations.Prior support on the DoS INLA program.100 hours flight time in H-60 series aircraft within 24 months.OCONUS:
