A Round Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while consistently contributing to departmental targets.

What will I be doing?
As a Round Cook, you would be responsible for providing shift relief for breakfast, dinner, station and second cooks in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\nPrepares and properly garnishes all food orders in accordance with menu specifications\n\n\nPrepares sauces, soups and hot entrees in accordance with menu\n\nPresents food using proper plate presentation techniques\n\nCoordinates completion of menu items with server\n\nSets up for meals by ensuring proper amounts are in place for forecasted covers, special functions and any reservations\n \nOrganizes and maintains work areas, coolers and storage areas\n\n\nPrepares work checklist and organizes work stations for each shift\n\nRequisitions food with necessary approvals according to policy\n\nTakes proper care of ranges, ovens, broilers, fryers, griddles, utensils and other equipment\n \nAdheres to safety and security standards, including\n\nWork area and equipment is cleaned, maintained and organized \n\nEnsuring proper equipment operation\n\nWorking knowledge of local health/ sanitation, food storage and  handling \n\nFollow any internal, local health/ sanitation, guidelines/procedures to ensure food and beverage safety for guests\n\nEnsure kitchen is readied for next shift\nSupportive Functions:\n\n\nPerforms any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor.\n\nKeep floors dry and clean to avoid slip/fall accidents. \n\nPerforms other duties as requested, such as moving supplies and equipment, cleaning up unexpected spills.\n What are we looking for?
