Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Route Sales Representative to join our team. As a Route Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales volume, managing sales territories, achieving sales quotas, and maintaining accounts. This is a challenging role that requires a strong sales background. The successful candidate will be a key player in our sales team and will contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Responsibilities:
Consistently build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in all accounts.Communicate monthly pricing and promotion schedules.Prioritize weekly/monthly workload.Assure proper merchandising, shelf position, displays, and pricing are in line with company and supplier standards.Consistently book artwork and merchandisers to support standards.Attend scheduled promotions and events in your region.Manage accounts receivable and the disbursement of account credits.Ensure quality assurance, including “Pick up and Move,” rotation, and package integrity.Maintain an up-to-date Draft Survey.Maintain the company vehicle and all assigned company property in good condition.Keep all ABC-required documents up to date, including transit permits, solicitors permits, invoices, sampling logs, and sample stickers.Submit reports and requested information in a timely manner.Maintain accurate account data (e.g., open/close, draft/package status).Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase revenue.Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met.Skills and Qualifications:
Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct sales and account management.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and quotas.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multi-task and handle administrative tasks with high attention to detail.Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly demanding environment.Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Clean driving record and reliable transportation.This role requires employees to obtain and maintain eligibility for a Solicitor Permit issued by the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.Benefits:
