CaroMont Health is hiring a Routine(Radiologic) Technologist Assistant to work Relief shifts within our Imaging Services team at the CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC! Routine Technologist Assistant Roles and Responsibilities: + Perform routine ER, OR, and portable radiological procedures for which competency has been demonstrated. + Work from work queue, physician's orders, and direction from supervising Radiologic Technologist. + Prepare and position patients. + Operate Radiology equipment and perform other similar or related duties as assigned or required by supervising Radiologic Technologist. + All images must be checked off by a registered technologist prior to submitting to radiologists. Required Skills & Qualifications: + Successful completion of one year of a JRC-accredited Radiologic Technology Program REQUIRED + No prior work experience required. + Thorough knowledge of radiology imaging procedures. + Considerable skill in performing various radiology procedures. + Registry must be completed and passed within 90 days from degree conferral.
