What we are looking for:
Subject matter expert providing Right of Way (ROW) guidance and expertise to AEP, EPC project teams. This role touches many people involved in all aspects of the work. Capitalize on this opportunity by being a champion for our safety programs. Encourage safe and healthy work practices in daily interactions with teammates.
What you’ll do:
+ Support project leads.
+ Main point of contact for AEP right of way.
+ Monitor acquisitions against project schedule - drive improvement.
+ Subcontractor management - land agents, siting, outreach.
+ Successor development.
+ Develop strong professional relationships with AEP ROW managers.
+ Daily effective communication and coordination with Project Leaders and support teams.
+ Project Operations meetings - owns presentation and communication of ROW information and KPIs. Details provided by project leader.
+ Continual monitoring of ROW activities - actual vs. planned duration.
+ Timely communication of ROW issues with potential schedule and cost impacts.
+ Apply best-in-class ROW principles advising and guiding project teams.
+ Utilize career experience to offer best-in-class recommendation or potential solution to ROW challenges.
+ Development of Aldridge ROW standard
+ Maintain awareness and understanding of environmental permitting impacts on ROW.
+ Manage, direct and coordinate subcontractor efforts in accordance with project plan.
+ Collect, review, summarize and distribute land agent KPIs weekly.
+ Regular review and assurance that subcontractor deliverables meet intent of specifications, scope of work and other project requirements.
Who you are:
+ 8+ years heavy construction (utility) experience.
+ Past experience in a leadership role in Utility.
+ Be able to travel as needed (Midwest area) approximately 1-2x per month.

What we offer:
The annual base pay for this role is between $100,000 - $120,000. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions.
