About the Contract   

 

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities. Ventia has been awarded a new water contract to deliver preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance along with Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentational services across the Seqwater network.   

 

Ventia will provide service excellence across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams.

About the Role 

 

Reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Manager this role will provide Electrical engineering expertise to the corrective, preventative and reactive maintenance program. As the REPQ Electrical Engineer you will provide technical advice to electrical assets across the Seqwater network.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

Undertake Electrical engineering investigations, designs and calculations  Colloborate with planners/schedulers and internal teams to optimise efficiencies across the electrical asset lifecycle   Provide technical advice to the Capital Works team on maintenance programs   RPEQ supervision and sign-off responsibilities in accordance with Qld Legislation.  Prepare engineering reports and documentation  

 

About you 

Degree in Electrical Engineering  RPEQ registration with Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland  Current Australian Drivers Licence.  Engineering experience on electrical assets such as HV, power instruments, control systems etc  Experience on large maintenance programs, water infrastructure (Advantageous)
