RQ-4 Acquisition & Sustainment Support Specialist

To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! **Responsibilities** + Provide skilled expertise in establishing Logistics Support and maintenance facility design requirements + Determine and identify un-manned aircraft systems workforce manning skill sets, support equipment and aircraft logistics infrastructure requirements; to include work unit codes and unit type codes to support and sustain CONUS and OCONUS Global Hawk Operations + Provide oversight of the program's acquisition process for aircraft support and test equipment, spares, tools and test parts + Coordinate Program Requirements with Higher Headquarters agencies; Air Staff, OSD and SAF + Provide System Program Office oversight of impacts relating to all phases of weapon systems analysis, acquisition and sustainment contracting processes to include compliance of current Air Force regulatory guidance during system engineering/design and development of assets or capabilities + Provide understanding/clarification of Aircraft Maintenance and Logistics Air Force and Command Regulatory Instructions and Policy and Procedures + Support Global Hawk aircraft operational bed-down locations to include Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) and Site Visits + Represent HQ ACC/A5I as the Weapons System Leading Technical Resource at conferences and meetings with foreign and domestic representatives + Provides support in the validation of aircraft and ground station maintenance training requirements **Qualifications** + Must possess an Active TS/SCI Clearance + Must possess bachelor’s degree + Must have a minimum of 5 years of MAJCOM or higher staff experience in operations, staff or working RQ-4 programs or subject area of the A5IH mission area, especially as pertains to logistics and supply chain + Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an RQ-4 un-manned Aircraft Weapons System and Support Equipment Functional Manager and lead in logistics acquisition, sustainment, and deployment activities + Must possess a working knowledge of Aerospace Ground Equipment Accounts to include Support Equipment Allowance Standards, acquisition planning/execution and inventory control + Must be familiar w/Knowledge of Capability Development Document (CDD) + Must have current knowledge of Command Logistics policy and procedures and governing instructions to include Technical Order development and management + Must have current knowledge of conducting site visits and Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) Team activities + Must have current knowledge of Aircraft and Personnel Deployment Orders (DEPORDS) and Request for Forces (RFF) process and procedures + Must have current knowledge and understanding of ACC test and training mission/systems and how they are employed **Job ID** 2024-14128 **Work Type** On-Site **Company Description** **Work Where it Matters** Akima Facilities Operations (AFO), an Akima company, is not just another federal facilities contractor.
