The Resolution Planning Analyst is a key contributor to Citi’s Resolution Plan, which details how Citi would be resolved in the event of its failure. The Resolution Planning Analyst is an experienced professional in financial and operational analysis and is expected to produce detailed analyses, written documentation, and management presentations and regulatory submission documents to regulators. The Resolution Planning Analyst is a strategic partner of the team who stays abreast of developments within the regulatory environment and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own role
**Responsibilities:**
+ Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
+ Ability to understand and interpret rule and regulatory requirements as it pertains to Recovery and Resolution
+ Ability to write comprehensive content based on rule and regulatory requirements for inclusion in the Recovery and Resolution submissions
+ Develops project plan objectives, establish realistic timelines for BOW and identify appropriate SMEs to execute all regulatory capabilities Resolution Plan requirements.
+ Develops a comprehensive understanding of resolution and recovery plans, in order to support and influence cross functional teams and management,
+ Prepares analyses, reports, presentations, and other communications for senior management by working independently and/ or collaborating in teams,
+ Performs monthly runbook processing and validation activities, and communicates with Central RRP (Resolution and Recovery Planning) team to align the ER-RRP runbook with other workstreams,
+ Works independently to retrieve and aggregate large data sets from Citi systems to perform detailed and complex analyses utilizing MS Excel and other tools,
+ Acts as a program manager when needed; holds meetings with several counterparts in Citi, understands the scope of the meeting and takes meaningful notes,
+ Manages and executes activities associated with system enhancement projects such as writing the business requirements, conducting data analysis, assisting with user acceptance testing and ensuring changes are implemented,
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as the poise needed to interact with senior and executive level management
+ Performs other duties and functions as assigned
**Qualifications:**
+ relevant experience with Third Party oversight, risk and/or relationship management. Knowledge of Citi business operations.
+ Ability to manage projects, expectations and maintain key relationships.
+ Familiarity with the emerging regulatory environment as it relates to Resolution and Recovery Planning.
+ Advanced project management, data analysis and reporting ability; with a good understanding of supporting technologies (applications, reporting tools, and data presentation).
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
