Job Title: RS - Aircraft Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II to perform maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft within the completions group, production, and service center. The candidate will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures under minimal supervision.

ResponsibilitiesPerform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.Coordinate with MTL, STM, and the Inspection Department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paperwork timely and accurately.Assist with shift turnovers as needed.Ensure all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED.FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 2 years working on mid/large size aircraft.Valid Driver’s License.4+ years of recent aircraft maintenance experience (or 2 years with an A&P license).Experience in aviation maintenance, which can include fixed wing or rotary wing, airframe, phase maintenance, troubleshooting, heavy maintenance, and aircraft repair.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be open to working any shift (days, nights, weekends, as needed).If former military, must have an honorable discharge and provide a copy of DD214.Must not have had any failure to test or failed drug tests in the past under a DOT program.Must be able to start within 4 weeks of offer.Why Work Here?

Candidates must be open to working any shift, including days, nights, and weekends. The work environment includes multiple departments, some focused on service orientation working on live planes, others in flight test working on planes getting certified, and others in completions working on the production of new planes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.19 - $32.19/hr.
