Research Regulatory Analyst III
Job Description:Responsibilities:
Works with the Research Regulatory Manager to ensure fully documented compliance with all applicable rules and regulations by assisting with the management of the IACUC administrative office operations for all IACUC operations including but not limited to our Gainesville and Jupiter campuses: provide direction and training of IACUC staff; help oversee daily operations including processing protocols/related documents, assisting research community, semi-annual inspections, and PAM program. Participate in administrative/operational support for database systems to process submissions / for record keeping. Ensures that IACUC records reflect verifiable compliance with all applicable guidelines.
Facilitates the integration of UF Scripps with UF’s assurance and accreditation. This includes serving as a regulatory resource, training stakeholders in UF platforms and programmatic policies, assisting Scripps research staff with inquiries/issues, and assisting IACUC staff engaged with the Scripps campus.
Collaborates with leadership on the development of business-related metrics to ensure efficient operation. Analyzes opportunities to improve services and works with Manager to implement them.
Develops, plans, and implements a program of continuing education for all persons involved in animal research (individuals using animals, IACUC staff, IACUC board members, etc). Helps oversee the AALAS Learning Library for the training of IACUC members and lab staff.
Act as one of the primary contacts for UF’s Research Community outreach and assistance requests

Expected Salary:$70,000 - $80,000
Minimum Requirements:Master's degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Two years of appropriate experience in animal research. Prior IACUC administrative experience. Certified Professional in IACUC Administration (CPIA). Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
