Grounded in the field sales strategy, this role will be responsible for creating and executing the long-term RTM strategy which takes into consideration key internal and external factors such as trade structure, SCM priorities and profit modelling and delivers excellent execution in all channels/outlets. This role will drive a continuous improvement mindset and identify (where appropriate_ changes to the RTM strategy and processes which enable both the field sales team and customers to win in the most efficient and effective way. This role will also be responsible for bringing future thinking (Test & Learn approach) to the route to market agenda and selecting the best route to shopper which optimizes reach, cost to serve and physical availability of our brands in-store by our Field Force and 3rd party services.

What would be your key responsibilities?

Development and implementation of the long-term RTM strategy which enables profitable distribution gains, delivers against efficiency and effectiveness ambitions and drives growth for Mars and the retailer.Efficient RTM creation for field sales in all channels through using the six global RTM capabilities.Collaborate with global RTM structures to develop and implement tools that will support us in analyzing data and drawing conclusions.Ensure RTM segmentation exists in line with SCM priorities and optimal route to shopper is selected taking into consideration key internal and externals factors such as cost to serve, trade structure, SCM priorities and profit modelling.Drive excellent execution of the RTM strategy to achieve optimal points
of distribution and ROI across all aspects of operations e.g. technology, field execution models, frequency planning.Taking into consideration key internal and external trends, conduct regular reviews of the RTM model to ensure the best route to shopper is being deployed.Proactively bringing the outside in through seeking field sales opportunities through 3rd party suppliers and exploring the external market.Ownership of relationship and budget of the 3rd party. Ensuring appropriate level of service and data validity provided.Develops an understanding of the distributors’ environment and objectives which can be leveraged to develop mutual shopper centric business plans with acceptable ROI and clear KPI’s which delivers mutual growth.Work closely with the Field Sales and Customer Development team to ensure key learnings and the voice of customer is built into future plans.Must abide by the Health & Safety polices in market ensuring safety at work
is not compromised, unsafe working situations are reported on the appropriate system in a timely manner and ensuring you understand the roles unique safety behaviors and put them into action.

What are we looking for?

5+ years of professional experience in a blue chip FMCG/consumer products and customer development/field sales.Experience in field sales or KAMs and demonstrated ability to work through others in a resourceful and inspiring manner to deliver business results.Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to translate insights into strategic and executional plans and communicate them in a simple and inspiring manner.Proven track record in development and implementation of the long-term RTM strategy focused on profitable distribution gains.Ability to challenge the status quo with a can-do attitude and manage resources to deliver business and customer objectives and deliver a strong mutual ROI. Driven, self-reliant and resilient and able to respond and adapt to
a fast moving, swiftly changing environment.Proven ability to build strong and influential relationships with key stakeholders across a diverse customer base.Ability to effectively develop and execute projects, ensuring key stakeholders are well informed and outcomes are effectively evaluated, and key learnings are applied to future projects.Proven ability to assess the relative importance of activities and assignments, determine necessary sequence of activities, adjust them where appropriate and effectively respond and resolve competing demands.Good business acumen and strategic ability with an understanding
of the sales cycle and the fundamentals of RTM models and strategies.Knowledge of the structure of the FMCG market in Poland and understanding of the unique needs of our business partners.Experience in areas such as (but not exclusive to): Field Sales and Customer Management is beneficial.Fluent Polish and very good English knowledge is a key competence for this role.
