Become a **maker** **of possible** with us. **About the role:** As a Rubber Laboratory Technician, you will support the Quality Scientist by maintaining a clean and orderly lab environment, conducting tests on materials and products, and performing special testing as needed. You will keep accurate records, maintain equipment, and enter data into the SAP system. Communication with Supervisors about any quality issues is essential. Your role also includes preparing samples, vulcanizing rubber, performing Rheology tests, and conducting specific gravity and hardness tests. Ensuring safety and cleanliness in the lab is a priority, and you may be required to work in other laboratories as needed. **Key responsibilities will include:** + Report to the Quality Scientist. + Maintain the Rubber Laboratory in a clean and orderly manner. + Perform tests on materials and products according to specifications. + Conduct special testing as required by the Supervisor. + Work in other laboratories as requested. + Keep accurate records and maintain files of test results. + Maintain instruments and equipment as applicable. + Enter testing data in the SAP system per specifications. + Communicate any quality failures to Supervisors and Production Supervisors. + Perform all tasks in a safe manner, observing all safety and environmental procedures. **About you:** To excel in this role, you need a blend of technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in computer navigation, including SAP, MS Excel, and MS Office, is crucial. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with basic math and science knowledge, are essential.
