Job Summary
The run plant engineer is responsible for providing technical support to ensure safe operation of all production equipment in line with regulations and customer requirements. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, managing maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs when necessary, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols at all times. The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of chemical processes along with excellent problem solving skills, communication abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in everything they do. They should also be able to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.
Job Responsibility
• Fulfill ACST Taoyuan site production requirement and lead the field activity for volume ramp-up
• Develop standard operation procedures and ensure specific disciplines are in place.
• Lead continuous improvement, process optimization, site matching with MT, DE, Quality, CI and related functions.
• Manage production activities, including production plan, trouble shooting, investigation of quality issues, and follow up action after audit.
• Proactively involved in PSM and safety supervision in area activities to ensure the plant is in compliance with the EH&S
Job Qualification
• Master's degree in Science/Engineering or related fields is required.
• 2+ years of process engineering experience
• Data analysis capability and technical reporting with 6 sigma concepts
• Independent problem-solving capability
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) is preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to be a team player
• Good English and Chinese language skills
• Good learning ability and positive working attitude
