About Our Dealership Gull Boats & RV in Missoula, MT, was started in 1941 by Bob Anderson Sr., but back then it was called Gull Boats. Bob Sr. began by manufacturing boats, out of an incredible new-fangled material called fiberglass, in his parents’ garage, where the Depot Deck is currently located. In those days, it was unheard of to be a landlocked boat manufacturer. Despite this (or because of it), his boats became a huge success. Soon, Gull's dealer network spread to Florida. Word of the quality of his boats was spreading. In the mid-'70s, three of Bob Anderson's sons, Bob Jr., Denny, and Mike took over, after working there during their youth. As the business grew, the boys moved down the road, into a new larger location, and continued to expand the business. RV's were added 20 years ago, and things have been rocking & rolling ever since.
