Job Summary: This position reports to the RV Park Manager at the C-Store. The basic function of this job is to assist the RV Park Manager in the day-to-day operations of the RV Park, C-Store, and Kennel. The supervisor will also assume responsibility for the complete operation of the RV Park, C-Store, and Kennel in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Fully understand and support Xanterra's Mission Statement and Core Values. Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the RV Park, C-Store, and Kennel Responsible for special projects assigned by the Store Manager Maintain visual displays according to the Xanterra Retail Standards Manual Assume responsibility for the operation and supervision of the Store and Kennel in the absence of the Store Manager Assist the Store Manager with annual reviews of employees and administer Corrective Action as required in the absence of the Store Manager Assist employees with opening and closing duties including deposits, stocking, cleaning, and customer service along with delegating tasks Assist employees with the registration process and assure guest satisfaction Share duties with all employees regarding kennel check-ins, check-outs, cage cleaning using bleach and chemicals, mopping, etc. Oversee general housekeeping of the store and kennel and maintain the proper standard of appearance Assist with all loss control and shrinkage to keep losses to a minimum Adhere to all Safety, Risk Management, and Environmental Policies-Present monthly safety/staff meetings Assist with paperwork including receiving, transferring, and other administrative duties as directed by the Store Manager Assist with training of clerks and leads and provide training feedback to Store Manager Assure proper care and feeding of pets, walking and administering medications, and responsible for accepting the proper shot records Qualifications Qualifications: Previous Leadrship experience. Previous experience RV Park/Kennel or retail operation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Precious experience in cash handling or credit card payments. Possess a valid/clear Arizona driver’s license and ability to comply with Xanterra/GCR vehicle operation policy. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is: Constantly listening, hearing, seeing, standing, walking, using eye/hand coordination, handling, and wrist motion. Frequently walk and lift or carry up to 10 lbs. Occasionally sit, handle, reach outward, reach above shoulder, squat, or kneel, lift/carry and push or pull up to 100lbs.
