Responsibilities SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Incumbent serves as the RV Park and Storage Lot Attendant for MCCS at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms. Performs and/or assists in the operation of the RV parks and storage facilities. Based on established policies, incumbent carries out assigned phases of designated activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants. Typical assignments may include: safeguarding of patron records, to include confidential and sensitive information; communication with patrons by phone and email; creation of reservations using RMS; confirmation of arrivals and departures; creation and sending of required patron documents through DocuSign; sending mass notifications through email and a text service; establishing schedules of events; maintaining the playground and dog waste area; completion of monthly inspections. Demonstrates procedures common to the activities and instructs in the use of related equipment. Helps to plan and coordinate details of and maintains related supplies for the RV parks and storage facilities. Incumbent will overseed daily and monthly charges to all patrons. Ensures adherence to safety rules and regulations. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment See Duties and Qualifications EVALUATIONS: Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum one year experience that demonstrates knowledge and ability to perform the described summary of duties. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Skill to demonstrate activities and use of related facility equipment. Skill to operate required computer equipment and software. Skill to learn applicable MCCS policies and procedures. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
