Are you an RVN looking to advance your nursing career in a supportive mid-tier referral hospital? At West Midlands Referrals, we’re proud of our welcoming, family-feel culture and our purpose-built facility that allows us to deliver exceptional care across orthopaedics, soft tissue, and internal medicine.
We’re seeking a Referral Clinical Nurse to join our dynamic and friendly team of 21 nurses, 5 referral vets, multiple PCAs, and 9 dedicated client care colleagues. You'll work closely with experienced professionals and have the chance to develop your skills in a referral environment that prioritises teamwork, growth, and quality care.
What your role will involve:
Supporting the surgical, anaesthesia, and medical caseload with high standards of nursing care
Being hands-on across 8–9 procedures per day, including a mix of orthopaedics and soft tissue surgeries
Rotating through theatre, wards, diagnostics, and prep areas to maintain variety and skill development
Working in a collaborative environment where everyone pulls together to deliver the best outcomes for patients and clients
Occasional client-facing duties as required

What we’re looking for:
Qualified RVN with a passion for patient care
Referral experience is desirable but not essential – full support provided

What your rota looks like:
Rolling rota includes:
2 shifts of 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
1 shift of 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
1 shift of 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Every 4 weeks, you receive 1 day off either side of the weekend for a better work-life balance
On-call duties only approx. 3 weekends per year for inpatient care
1 Bank Holiday shift annually
No night shifts – we have a dedicated night team for inpatient care
