What is The Role
Elastic is searching for a talented sales leader for the Northeast Enterprise Sales organization. You will be joining one of our fastest growing segments here and will have a big impact as you build, lead, and develop your team of Account Executives across the region. Reporting to the Area Vice President of Enterprise Sales, you’ll join a leadership team comprised of seasoned peers across the Eastern half of the United States and Canada. Elastic’s RVPs are focused on growing revenue through new customer acquisition and expanding existing customer relationships, meeting and exceeding all sales targets and performance metrics. This is a highly-visible and cross-functional role where you’ll inspire others and lead by example. What You Will Be Doing
• Leading team of large enterprise sellers
• Developing comprehensive knowledge of our technology platform, product messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitor landscape
• Actively contributing to and owning sales plan creation, compensation structures, and customer segmentation
• Ensuring the attainment of assigned sales quotas by ‘leading from the front’ and driving Elastic’s sales methodology
• Actively fostering an environment of teamwork, transparency, creativity, and continuous improvement
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with representatives of the Open Source community and partner ecosystems
• Traveling as-needed to assist in deal creation and closure, as well as meet any managerial needs and provide support to your team as required
• Partnering across Elastic’s leadership community to ensure a seamless customer experience
What You Bring
• Experience leading high performing Enterprise sales teams
• Consistent track record of leading teams to exceed quotas and objectives within a fast paced and technical client acquisition driven business
• Strong SaaS sales leadership
• Executive-level relationships with key accounts
• Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment
• Experience running an operating cadence to ensure forecast accuracy, SFDC hygiene and adherence to MEDDPICC methodology
