This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for: A Regional Vice President (RVP) of International Solutions Engineering. This individual will lead the global solutions engineering function to drive growth, strategic partnerships, and customer success across international markets. This leadership role is responsible for establishing and executing the vision, strategies, and goals for the sales engineering teams, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regional market needs.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling solutions engineering operations, managing cross-functional teams, and collaborating with senior leadership. This is a high-impact role that combines technical expertise with leadership skills to support the sales teams in closing complex deals, implementing solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction in diverse international markets.

To succeed in this role, you must have experience related to the below:

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of Sales Engineers across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with sales goals and business objectives.

Create a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction, technical excellence, and collaboration across all geographies.

Foster cross-functional teamwork with sales, product, marketing, and customer success teams to drive the growth of the business.

Develop and implement training programs to enhance technical knowledge and sales enablement for sales engineering teams globally.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Drive the solutions engineering strategy in partnership with the sales leadership team, ensuring the team is equipped to meet global revenue and customer acquisition targets.

Collaborate with regional sales leaders to provide pre-sales technical support for complex deals, demonstrations, and proof of concepts.

Align sales engineering initiatives with business and customer requirements, ensuring technical offerings match the unique demands of international markets.

Support and lead the technical aspects of large, high-value sales opportunities, including customer presentations, technical workshops, and RFP/RFI responses.

Customer Engagement & Satisfaction:

Ensure the solutions engineering team provides exceptional technical support to customers throughout the sales cycle and post-sales implementation.

Act as a key customer advocate, understanding their technical needs, requirements, and business goals, ensuring solutions align with customer expectations.

Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth transitions and successful deployment of solutions.

Performance Metrics & Reporting:

Develop and track key performance metrics for the sales engineering team, ensuring goals are met and exceeded.

Provide regular updates to the executive leadership team on sales engineering performance, key wins, challenges, and market trends.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements or adjustments.

Market & Product Expertise:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure the sales engineering team is always positioned as experts in their field.

Work closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure that customer feedback and technical needs are reflected in product development.

Regional Customization & Adaptation:

Oversee the customization and localization of solutions engineering efforts for different international regions, ensuring that cultural, economic, and regulatory differences are taken into account when supporting customers.

Work with regional teams to identify growth opportunities and execute strategies that cater to local market demands.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience:

12+ years of experience in sales engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing international teams.

Proven experience in enterprise sales, ideally in a B2B technology environment, with a strong understanding of both technical solutions and sales processes.

Experience in driving international sales strategies, working across different markets, and adapting strategies for cultural and regional differences.

Leadership Skills:

Strong people leadership capabilities, with experience managing, mentoring, and developing teams across diverse regions and cultures.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to C-level executives.

Strong strategic and business acumen, with the ability to balance long-term vision with short-term sales objectives.

Technical Expertise:

Deep understanding of complex technical products, solutions, and architectures.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions for customers.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced technical degree preferred).

Languages:

Multilingual abilities are a plus, with fluency in English required. Proficiency in other major languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Mandarin) would be an advantage
