We are looking for a Real World Evidence (RWE) Business Liaison Lead to join us in our RWE Innovation & Solutions team based onsite (hybrid) at one of our U.S. hub offices located in Atlanta GA, Raleigh NC or Boston MA
 
About the role
The RWE Business Liaison Lead will leverage RWE capabilities to answer business questions, ensuring a common understanding of RWE generation methods and strategies in the US for various stakeholders including patients, providers, payers, and regulators.

 

Who you’ll work with
This individual will foster and lead a network of RWE generation stakeholders both locally and globally with the aim to: 

Facilitate identification of business questions that can be answered leveraging RWE Guide translation of relevant business questions into research questionsFacilitate the provision of appropriate RWE methods support, guidance and framework to RWE generation Support the execution of prioritised RWE projects for the US affiliate, leveraging other UCB RWD analytic capability

 

What you’ll do

Foster and lead a global-to-local network to drive excellence and maximize synergies and efficiencies in the generation of sound real-world evidence for the US affiliate Provide (in close collaboration with RWE strategy leads) guidance and ensure alignment between global and local US RWE strategies & activitiesPartner closely with relevant regional and local internal US stakeholders (e.g., Access, Medical, Safety) to facilitate identification of opportunities and to ensure alignment of RWE initiatives globally\\Ideate with the US regional or local teams on RWE needs and most efficient and scientific sound approaches, drives consistent core protocol developments and implementations and supports best RWE vendor and KOL selections.Ensure implementation of the global RWE generation strategy framework for the value proposition of UCB inline and pipeline assets for payers and HTA bodies in close alignment with the RWE strategy leadsResponsibility for leading RWE study design, planning and execution (including protocol development and analysis specification following best methodological standards) as neededGuides Local Medical/Access colleagues in developing study documents for RWE studies (study concepts, study protocols) Foster the collaboration between the Center of Excellence of RWD Analytics and other functions represented locally, including the US HEOR group, to ensure best access to treatments for patients across the USEnsure close collaboration and connectivity to the RWE strategy leads and other RWE colleagues. Providing transparency on US perspectives to tailor global initiatives accordingly 

 

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

Masters Degree (PhD preferred)Experience successfully conceptualizing and delivering RWE projects using primary or secondary data within the pharmaceutical industry Proven successful track record of analysis of Real World Data in partnership with Epidemiologists, Payers, HTA bodies, Outcomes ResearchersHands-on experience in Health outcome-related projects, HTA submissions and reviewsDemonstrated track record of performing high quality research (i.e., scientific publications; abstracts, posters, full papers in peer-reviewed clinical and/or economic journals) Knowledge of US health care systemSound understanding of how to successfully apply comparative and health economic research principles and efficiently communicate the resulting evidence to support the development and commercialization of products


This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $160,000-$210,000. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
