Job Description:

 

Learn and apply technical skills related to mechanical and electrical HVAC systems toward establishing new test methods for new product development engineering activities Attend NPI Engineering meetings to ensure testing expectations are clearly defined and communicated cross functionally. Manage and maintain test and capital improvement schedules. Create technical project plans for new or upgrades to existing capital test equipment. Coordinate activities with product engineers and a team of technicians Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Develop and issue test procedures. Apply an advanced level of computer literacy in the areas of data acquisition and PID controls. Operate test standards as needed. Analyze and interpret data from test results. Execute testing programs to quantify the performance and reliability of critical and/or new technologies and designs. Provide technical oversight as required to general testing activities to ensure the highest level of quality and integrity of result. Review and approve internal testing standards. Identify new testing methodologies and recommend incorporation into existing Daikin testing methods and procedures. Continuously develops existing technical expertise and expands into other areas as needs of the organization dictate. Frequently use hand tools as needed to perform specialized tests, troubleshoot/repair equipment, etc.

Eligibility

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred or any relevant bachelor's degree 0-3 years of experience LabVIEW or HVAC experience preferred
