What You Can Expect

Key Responsibilities: 

SaaS Access and CASB Deployment and Management: 

Design, implement, and maintain CASB solutions to secure cloud applications and services. Monitor and analyze cloud activity to detect and mitigate risks. Configure and enforce policies for secure access to sanctioned and unsanctioned cloud services. 

AI Security Implementation and Management: 

Assess and secure generative AI (GenAI) application usage. 

Develop and implement controls on AI security platforms and tools. 

Collaborate with stakeholders to enable secure adoption of AI technologies. 

Risk Analysis and Mitigation: 

Conduct risk assessments on cloud services and AI applications. 

Develop and implement controls to mitigate identified risks. 

Monitor AI-generated outputs to identify and prevent security threats. 

Threat Detection and Response: 

Scan and inspect responses from sanctioned GenAI apps for malicious content. 

Integrate CASB and AI security tools to detect and mitigate advanced threats. 

Ensure the integrity and security of data processed by AI systems. 

Compliance and Reporting: 

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies. 

Generate reports on CASB and AI security activities, usage trends, and incidents for management and audit purposes. 

Collaboration and Training: 

Collaborate with IT, compliance, and other departments to align security controls with business objectives. 

Train and coach employees on secure cloud and AI application usage. 

Qualifications: 

3-5 years of experience in information security, focusing on CASB and AI security. 

Proven experience with leading CASB tools (e.g., Netskope, Palo Alto CASBx, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Symantec CloudSOC). 

Expertise with AI/ML security challenges and solutions. 

Deep expertise in configuring and managing CASB solutions, including policy enforcement and activity monitoring. 

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS applications. 

Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks NGFW, Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud, etc. is highly desired 

Understanding of AI application security risks and data protection strategies. 

Hands-on experience with integrating CASB tools with SIEM platforms for enhanced monitoring. 

Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to automate security tasks. 

Experience with REST APIs for customizing CASB and AI security integrations. 

Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, including SSO and multi-factor authentication. 

Familiarity with zero-trust architecture and its application to cloud and AI environments. 

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex security issues and propose effective solutions. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. 

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, AWS Certified Security, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) are a plus. 

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SaaS and Cloud Access Security Platform Engineer to join our Information Security team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring secure access to SaaS applications and safeguarding organizational data in the context of AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CASB solutions, SaaS access security, data loss prevention, and developing robust security strategies to enable safe technology adoption. 

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

131,540 - 197,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
