The specific focus of the position will be related compliance of Safran's Low Carbon initiative and its application at the SAC site. **Complementary Description** PROJECTS AND DELIVERABLES • Conduct GAP Analyses and propose solutions to achieve GOLD status in Safran's Low Carbon initiative and Safran's HSE Standards • Support Safran's low-carbon initiative on-site by developing, organizing, and installing low carbon projects to ensure corporate GHG goals are met • Support Safran's HSE GOLD Standards initiative by developing, organizing, and installing risk mitigation and HSE improvement projects to ensure corporate HSE goals are met • Work with HR Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Facilities Engineer to identify needs and create project plans • Work with Safran Auditors to demonstrate compliance with Company objectives concerning Safran's Low-Carbon initiative and Safran's HSE GOLD status objectives ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide technical advice and guidance for resolution of safety related issues. • Perform internal workplace safety inspections and report findings (GPIs). • Work with others to investigate complaints concerning hazards in the workplace. • Conduct Risk Analyses of processes, equipment, material handling, chemicals, ergonomics etc.; identify risks and propose solutions. • Gather and maintain data on various safety, health and environmental programs and report findings (i.e. deviation collection, air emissions, waste generation etc.) • Participate in project reviews and Change Management Process. **Job Requirements** SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED/DEVELOPED IN POSITION • Project management skills, including development of project scope, timeline, identification of needed resources, and interim and final goals. • Team work and collaboration – this position is required to interact with employees at all levels within Safran Aerospace Composites • Develop understanding of health, safety, and environment (HSE) frame of work and implementation in a company setting • Gain knowledge of USA health and safety regulatory requirements and how these interact with Safran trade compliance requirements REQUIRED COMPETENCIES – Education/Knowledge/Skills • Associate or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in manufacturing setting • Must have excellent communication skills to interact and communicate with employees • Effective team building, presentation and project management skills required • Requires the ability to read, comprehend and interpret regulations as they apply to the business • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization required • Requires strict attention to detail and time management skills • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
