The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) & Security Manager to lead and promote our SHE and Site Security agenda. The successful candidate will provide SHE and Site Security guidance to the General Manager and Leadership Team, ensuring the correct application of all SHE directives and fostering a safe environment for all employees.

Lead SHE and Site Security initiatives and provide guidance to the General Manager and Leadership TeamPromote SHE and Site Security in alignment with local and global Roche SHE objectives and goals and ensure the compliance of the affiliateSupport organizational compliance with local legal regulations and Roche SHE directivesAssist in SHE training for employees and develop a system for documenting and responding to SHE reports and complaintsOrganize periodic SHE and Site Security inspections and report critical SHE and security situationsMonitor, document, and report on the implementation of SHE programs, accidents, incidents, occupational injuries, emissions, energy use, and progress toward SHE goalsCompile and document SHE KPIs for trend monitoring, management planning, and SHE reportingEnsure regular communication of SHE-related information (incl. internal awareness campaigns) and maintain communication with the global teamAdvise local emergency response teams and establish the local emergency management systemManage critical safety and security issues and participate in investigationsCollaborate with the finance department on financial provisions for legacy health and environmental liabilitiesEstablish and maintain contacts with local SHE authorities, professional organizations, scientific bodies, and law enforcement authoritiesImplement and document a risk analysis process to promote prevention and business continuity

Who You Are

Higher education; additional qualifications in SHE/SHW management and Office/Facility management are advantagesProven work experience (2+ years) in a similar positionProven experience in SHE/SHW management, and Office/Facility managementExcellent knowledge of MS Office, working experience in G-suite is a plusKnowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines, and industry policiesFluent in Slovak and advanced proficiency in English language (min. B2)Demonstrated problem-solving ability - analyses problems or new situations clearly and logicallyExemplary planning and time management skillsThrives in a fast-paced environment and looks for ways to bring efficiency into processesAbility to multitask and prioritize daily workload - links responsibilities with the organization's missionExcellent communication and negotiation skills, open to input from othersStrong influencing skills with a proven track record in building and cultivating relationships with colleagues, key partners and stakeholders, works effectively with others without direct authorityIndependent worker and self-starter with a drive for results and demonstrating resilienceWelcomes and seeks personal upskilling

Salary starts from 1900 EUR gross/month. Final salary depends on the level of skills, experience and qualification.
