Join us. **Job Description** AECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Safety, Health & Environment Specialist for employment in Lima, Perú. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: + The SH&E Specialist is a member of the project delivery team reporting to the SH&E Manager and will be responsible for supporting the execution of the construction project. The SH&E Specialist will support the delivery of the construction project within program timelines within a set of clear performance indicators. This role will require significant interaction with the project team to maintain and contribute to fluid communications and client confidence throughout the progress of project delivery. + The SH&E Specialist is responsible for contributing to high levels of compliance at project sites by providing clarification of intent and practical examples of implementation. + The SH&E Specialist aims to increase employee awareness and knowledge of the life safety and customer safety program. + Audits the project site to raise awareness and sensitivity among project personnel about unsafe conditions and unsafe practices or behaviors. + Supports the use of near miss reports by contractors. Assists with the permit to work process and ensures compliance with permit procedures. + Support the incident and accident investigation process by collecting factual evidence, photographs, witness statements and other information useful for the Root Cause Analysis process. + The SH&E Specialist supports the development and delivery of SH&E orientation and training for projects managed by AECOM employees. + Assist in monitoring contractor training programs for compliance with AECOM and Client and regulatory requirements. + Assists the SH&E Manager, Project Managers and Site Superintendents in administering the Site Specific SH&E Plan and developing Site Specific Risk Assessments. **Qualifications** Minimum requirements: + Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or similar degrees and studies. + 2 YEARS or demonstrated equivalence of experience and/or education + Experience in Safety, Health and Environment of construction projects.
