We are currently seeking applicants for a Safety and Environmental Intern in the Environmental, Health, and Safety Department of our Power Production Division located at the New Madrid Power Plant in Marston, MO. This is a paid internship that offers employment during summer 2025. Normal working days are Monday through Friday. You could also potentially receive course credit while working at AECI! As part of the Environmental, Health, and Safety Department (EH&S), these positions may include the following areas: · Assist in the development and tracking and compliance programs · Update environmental compliance and procedure documents · EH&S inspections and audits · Hands-on experience in the field working · SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure) inspections Qualified applicants will be currently enrolled in an Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental or a related applied science field, and have successfully completed two (2) years of work towards a bachelor’s degree. We are seeking an individual with strong computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong statistical and analytical background.
