What You Will Do

Boundless is seeking a diligent and proactive Building Safety and Security/ Facilities Management Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing both safety and facilities management operations within our building premises. This role requires a combination of strong security skills, facilities maintenance knowledge, and excellent communication abilities to ensure the smooth operation of our properties.

 
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of facilities including offices and other relevant spaces Coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring timely repairs and preventive measures to uphold safety and functionality standards Oversee the implementation of safety protocols Prepare and manage the facilities budget, providing regular reports on expenditure and variances Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility-related services Ensure compliance with relevant DOLE regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies Develop and implement cost-effective strategies for facility management while maintaining high standards. Collaborate with various departments to understand their facility-related requirements and provide necessary support

Qualifications:

Level 3 training in security management or SO3 Certification is a must. Proven experience working in a security-related role, preferably in a commercial building setting. Strong knowledge of safety and security procedures, protocols, and best practices. Familiarity with facilities management principles and practices, including maintenance and repair procedures. Excellent observational skills with the ability to quickly identify potential security risks or maintenance issues. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, visitors, and colleagues. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations. Physical fitness and stamina to perform regular patrols and respond to emergencies as needed. Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
