The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and colleagues. In this role, you will ensure the safety of our property by adhering to established safety and security protocols, conducting thorough incident reporting, and proactively addressing potential concerns. **Key Responsibilities:** + Monitor and patrol all areas of the property to ensure safety and security. + Respond promptly to incidents, accidents, and emergencies, providing assistance and detailed documentation. + Enforce hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. + Work collaboratively with other departments to support guest satisfaction and colleague wellbeing. + Operate and maintain proficiency in basic computer systems for logging incidents and reports. **Qualifications:** + A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. + Refined verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to stand for long periods and walk long distances. + Ability to climb up and down 12 stories of stairs regularly. + Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays. + Proficiency in basic computer skills. + Previous security experience is welcomed but not required. + The majority of shifts will be from 3:00 PM - 11:30, but the candidate should be prepared to work other shifts as needed.
