Job DescriptionResponsible for implementing and leading safety and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. This position will have a focus on quality improvement and lean methodologies.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Work with EHS Manager to identify and execute safety projectsIdentify and execute continuous improvement projects and facilitate delivery of metric improvements resulting in the achievement of strategic business objectives.Communicate the status of continuous improvement projects including progress report outs, escalation of barriers and mitigation plans, and integration with other projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Support effective, successful onboarding of new business.Support quality program initiatives including oversight of internal and external quality notifications management and closure.Assist in the definition, design, and reporting of key metrics.Initiate and lead employee training to further instill the continuous improvement skill set into the organization.Partner in analyzing and recommending changes in technology to better position the business as assigned.Collaborate cross-functionally on key initiatives.Support development and execution of departmental training matrix.Responsible for improving safety, productivity, efficiency, and quality and reducing waste, having a direct effect on profitability.WHAT WE VALUE
