This position will be responsible for hazardous waste management and disposal coordination, compliance inspections, SPPC Plan coordination and adherence, safety training, chemical inventory management, and the like. Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree in a related field and two (2) years of related work experience + Note - Experience may substitute for the degree on a year for year basis Preferred Qualifications: + Master's Degree + Three (3) or more years of experience in environmental, occupational and/or fire and life safety + Experience working for a state agency + Experience writing and/or enforcing policies and procedures + Experience with environmental software programs + Experience in developing and instructing safety trainings + Ability to use a computer and knowledge of basic computer program functions + Valid driver's license Physical Demands: Ability to life/move objects weighing 15lbs or more; ability to work in various environmental conditions. This position will work both in the field and in an office environment. Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and work experience.
