Job Summary: 

\n

To provide professional medical care to associates, conduct screenings, promote wellness among associates and perform assigned safety and health functions. 

\n

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

\n\n Promote and schedule wellness activities among associates\nTreatment of associates for injuries/incidents, assist in trend analysis\nMonitor work related injuries; associates should be seen at a minimum of once per week\nVPP Team Member\nTrack Management Accountability Program\nContact company physicians when necessary (restriction clarification, after hour emergencies, etc)\nAssist with new hire orientation and conduct new hire checks daily\nConduct Drug and Alcohol tests as well as Random\nSchedule HazMat physicals\nAdminister RTW program\nMedical documentation data entry\nSchedule CPR/First aid training\nConduct Audiometric testing\nProduction floor presence weekly\nInventory medical supplies as needed\nParticipate in Health Fairs\nMaintain SDS books\nParticipate in Shift Safety meetings and support Safety & Health goals\n\n

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

\n\n Knowledge of medical terminology\nWorking knowledge of medical equipment\nClerical and computer skills, SAP, AS400, (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel)\nExcellent attendance and personnel record\nExcellent time management, organizational, written and verbal communication\nSelf - motivated team player\n\n

Education & Experience: 

\n\n EMT Certification\n\n

\n\n Perform other duties as assigned\n\n

Working Environment:

\n\n Frequent time in cold and wet industrial environment required\nMay require long periods of time on feet\nMay require a lot of walking\nMust be able to read reports, evaluate data, and use computer.\nSome long hours and weekend work may be required.\n\n
