Safety Intern - Product Training (Summer 2025)

The Product Training Safety intern will assist with meeting customer safety training needs including determination of appropriate training content, developing training programs, and delivering or assisting in the delivery of training. This role will research various training topics and use common office and specialized software to configure, maintain, and update training materials for customer training.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

Assist in leading instruction on equipment operation, both presentation based and hands on, to an audience of customers on various equipment platforms.

Assist in the development of course content.

Participate in course content reviews and pilot courses.

Provide feedback from customers on course content.

Assist in training material updates to maintain currency of course materials.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Student working towards a bachelor’s degree in business, safety, construction management or related field.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.

Technical and mechanical aptitude.

Experience and interest in conducting training to a variety of audiences.

Knowledge and experience with JLG specific machines.

Understanding of access industry standards.

Experience with Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
