As the safety champion, you'll be accountable for ensuring top-tier safety practices are implemented and maintained, creating a secure and compliant environment for every project.

Responsibilities: Safety Management: Coordinate all safety activities, develop and implement safety policies, and conduct site risk assessments and audits. Reporting: Prepare and submit safety reports to management, maintain safety statistics, and ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver safety training programs, promote safety culture, and maintain an updated training matrix. Site Inspections & Incident Management: Perform site inspections, investigate safety incidents, and ensure emergency preparedness through drills and plans. Coordination & Communication: Liaise with stakeholders, manage subcontractor safety compliance, and participate in safety committees and client meetings. Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent. SACPCMP Registration - Compulsory SAMTRAC (NOSA) ISO 9001:2000 quality management system qualification is compulsory. ISO 14001 & 45001 Certification 5-7 years of experience in a safety management role within the construction industry.
