Ardent Services is a leading provider of high quality, power, control, and process automation services performed safely on time and on budget, as well as a premier provider of specialty electrical and instrumentation (E&I) services for process industries throughout the country. **Roles & Responsibilities** Safety Supervisor: + Responsible for overseeing all field safety reps on site. + Responsible for training and advancing field safety reps + Responsible for implementing and updating safety rules from IIPP. + Has skills and knowledge to provide leadership. + Has skills to communicate, public speaking is essential. + Ability to manage, analyze and understand safety trends and deploy innovative methods to improve situations. + Provide consultation and support for understanding safety policies and practices + Develops, Implements and Maintains Safety Documents + Assists in Safe Work Planning and Emergency Response Planning + Assists in auditing of safety practices and procedures + Assists in Implementing Site safety procedures. + Works closely with site supervision. + Works closely with client’s safety representative. + Must have advanced behavioral based safety techniques. + Must have good knowledge of OSHA regulations **This job description does not necessarily cover every task or duty that might be assigned.
