**Job Title: Safety Manager** **Job Description** A local union contractor is seeking a Safety Manager to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for the company and its employees. **Responsibilities** + Help plan and implement safety policies and procedures to comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA. + Develop, communicate, and enforce safety and claims strategies, programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with current regulations. + Lead and participate in safety inspections and audits to identify and resolve safety issues. + Monitor claims to ensure effective resolution practices are followed. + Conduct and review incident reports periodically to identify patterns, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. + Evaluate the performance of the company's safety and claims programs annually, using trend analysis and overall progress metrics. + Attend safety training sessions and maintain necessary certifications and licenses. **Essential Skills** + Experience with safety management and safety procedures + Knowledge of OSHA regulations + Health and safety experience + Experience in construction safety **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OSHA 30 certification (Preferred) + 2+ years of experience managing environmental, health, and safety processes **Why Work Here?** Enjoy union benefits and be part of a third-generation-owned family company where you are valued as more than just a number. **Work Environment** Work hours are from 7AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Anoka, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00 UNION BENEFITS Not a number, 3rd generation-owned family company Medical, dental, vision insurance coverage.
