The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager with IR experience to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols and industrial relations (IR) within our project You will ensure compliance with safety regulations, manage IR issues, and contribute to the overall success of our projects through effective safety and IR management.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain project specific safety policies and procedures.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.Manage and resolve industrial relations issues.Provide guidance and support to project teams on safety and IR matters.Prepare and present project reports on safety and IR performance.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.Conduct training sessions on safety practices and IR policies.Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and positive industrial relations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Relations, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in a safety and IR management role.Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industrial relations practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
