Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case. **Summary:** The Occupational Safety Officer position is multifaceted, to ensure that Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH) is a safe environment for our employees, staff, guests, and patients. The safety officer will actively participate in operations which supports employee safety, emergency preparedness, and facility regulatory guidelines and codes. Operations including but not limited to: Safety related Committees, EOC Rounding, Fit testing, Fire Drills, Emergency preparedness exercises, Safety Education, Internal safety communications, Inspections and Audits, Injury investigations and safety program evaluation and improvement. The position will have a dual reporting role to the Director of Facilities and the Director of Occupational Safety.
