Job Details:

Perform required duties set out in Rule 1047 of the DOLE OSH Standard as Safety OfficerFacilitate Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determining Controls on existing and new processes and equipmentConduct investigation and root cause analysis of accidents, health related issues, and other safety related issues and submit report to his/her immediate leader and to the Bureau if necessary.Conduct safety inspections and auditsProvide assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs.Support on ISO 45001 Standard – OHS Management SystemEnsure Emergency Preparedness Response readiness for all sitesAct as Fire Safety PractitionerDrive the Emergency Response Team to coordinate emergency response effortsEnsure that the necessary emergency procedures are in place and updated as necessaryPlan, organize, implement, and coordinate drills, emergency training and other related activitiesFacilitate compliance, securing, application and renewal of necessary permits to DOLE, BFP and other government regulatory agencies.Prepare and submit periodic reports as required by the government agencies.Performs other related tasks that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering.At least 5 years of relevant working experience in planning, organizing, leading, and enforcing safety programsWith extensive and accredited training in Safety practicesMust possess technical competence in the areas of Safety and Emergency ResponseMust be knowledgeable in Safety related laws and regulations.Strong business knowledge, good judgment and decision making, excellent organizational and communication skills;Proficient in MS Office Applications.Work location: Clark, PampangaWilling for a shifting schedule
