Overview

The Safety Program Analyst is responsible for the analysis of all available safety data and preparation of reports in support of the safety programs at Endeavor Air.

Responsibilities Interpret statistical data from the various Safety, Security and Ground Operations programs (FOQA, ASAP, safety reports, OSHA, SMS) and analyze results to identify data trends, utilizing risk assessments and root cause analysis.Participate in the ongoing decisions regarding data collection systems, dashboards, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.Organize data for the production of regular quality and safety risk reports utilizing Tableau and other tools.Gather data from a variety of identified sources to provide visibility to management system effectiveness regarding safety, quality, and compliance.Participate in internal department and external organizational safety review meetings.Monitor external entities and industry data sources to ensure Endeavor is in step with the latest safety data advancements.Develop queries from system databases for comprehensive analysis. Prepare periodic or ad hoc reports for senior management and other company departments and employees. Create automated processes, where applicable, for data extraction, report processing, and distribution. Assist in the creation of, and monitor performance of, Safety department goal metrics and policies. Other Duties Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Aviation, Safety, Analytics, or equivalent or a combination of education and related experience.Reliable and self-motivated.Analytical, interpretive, and organizational skills.Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and able to work with all levels of an organization.PC proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Familiarity or experience with Tableau, PowerBI, SQL or Python preferred.Familiarity or experience with API connections and/or database systems preferred.2 years of experience in airline operations preferred.Private Pilot Certificate preferred.Experience working in an airline Safety/Security department preferred.Ability to work additional hours including evenings and weekends as needed.Up to 5% travel as needed. Work Environment & Physical Demands Repetitive motion such as typing on the computer and phone work.Occasional physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
