Safety Risk Engineering Expert (m/f/d)

We strongly believe in the pivotal role of R&D Safety Risk Engineering for serving our customers with safe, reliable, and innovative products and solutions + You will benefit from a hybrid working model which will you give the opportunity to spend at least 3 days working from the office and up to 2 days from home + From a competitive salary to flexible working, a career at Philips comes with all sort of wonderful benefits. **You're the right fit if** + You hold a master’s Degree (or equivalent educational background) in a relevant area such as Systems Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Software Development, Informatics…) + You have acquired 5+ years of experience in medical product development + You have acquired 3+ years of experience in safety risk management for active medical devices preferably for software intense embedded systems + You have the knowledge of regulations related to risk management and the development of safe hardware and software products including ISO14971, FDA Regulations 21CFR 820, EU MDR, IEC 60601-1, IEC 62304, and IEC 62366-1 + You have a solid Risk Analysis Methodology know-how (e.g., FMEA, FTA, PHA) + You have an understanding of Safety risk Engineering as an integrated discipline in a system engineering workflow + You have strong communication and moderation skills and the ability to lead discussions with cross-disciplinary teams + You are able to communicate in both German and English languages (verbal and written proficiency). **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
