Overview Inspired by the lyrics and island lifestyle of singer, songwriter and best-selling author Jimmy Buffett, Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe | Houston is the destination resort and entertainment complex on the shores of beautiful Lake Conroe, Texas. We offer an exciting and fun employment experience where creating fun and escapism for our guests is the goal we seek to exceed every day. Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe | Houston is a uniquely situated waterfront property offering 303 all-suite accommodations, extensive water and recreational activities including a three-acre waterpark and 80 boat slip marina, 72,000 square-feet of combined conference and meeting facilities, five unique Margaritaville restaurant and bar concepts, a large and luxurious on-site spa, tennis and pickleball courts, and an 18-hole waterfront golf course. Security coordinators use exceptional observation and decision-making skills to protect the security of the property by monitoring visitor activity and watching for suspicious behavior. They need an understanding of office technology and office software savvy, as well as physical strength and the mental clarity to handle emergency situations. This Position will be scheduled Sundays through Thursdays from 6:00 am through 3:30 pm. Qualifications Your Role: Greeting and Signing in visitors Managing keys and sign-in roster Answering incoming calls Log Incident Reports Review of Surveillance Camara Footage Catalogue Lost & Found Inventory Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed Assist Management with scheduling of training platforms Certified in First Aid, CPR and AED Assist with other duties as assigned by management Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Must be at least 18 years old Ability to pass a background check Previous security-related work experience preferred Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations Proficient written and oral communication skills Strong Computer Skills in Microsoft Office Suite Customer Service communication skills required Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed Valid security license is not required yet a benefit. ENVIRONMENT: Inside office sitting at reception desk with some standing on hard floors. Work may be performed in small areas. Work entails some outdoor exposure with varying conditions of noise levels, temperature, and air quality.
