Responsibilities• Ensure total compliance to safety procedures and specification that will lead to the achievement of HSE KPIs \n• Assist in the overall control and maintenance of the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System of the Company to ensure effective implementation and compliance.  \n• Ensure that all site facilities and vehicles serving and assigned to the site are kept according to DSC Standards. \n• Train Employees and other services associates on Safety and relevant OSCPs. \n• Coordinate with government agencies as necessary to ensure compliance to mandated HSE legal requirements. \n• Track and raise accident and incident reports.  Assist and coordinate with site operations managers in any non-conformance affecting Safety, Health & Environment. \n• Promote BBS and Near-miss/Hazard Reporting in LOGICS and track closure of the LOGICS record. \n• Conducts all Safety, Health & Environment in-house training. \n• Assist in monitoring the progress of all corrective and preventive actions on HSE matters undertaken by the Department Heads. \n• Ensure required WHS Assessments are conducted according to the prescribed timeline\n• Major Incidents - Investigations & Actions \n• Establish HSE SOPs, VCDs, OPLs from the minimum HSE standards where applicable  \n• Conduct Site Management Review, WHS Committee Meetings, Team Briefing, Conduct of Safety Moment \n• Ensure conduct of Trial Evacuation/Emergency Drill. \n• Lead and Support Site HSE Improvement Projects \n• Coordinate Internal BCM program\n

 

Requirements•  Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills \n•  Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.\n•  With good interpersonal skills \n•  With good analytical skills \n•  Can work with minimal supervision \n•  Has good presentation skills \n•  Has positive outlook \n•  Has attended BOSH Training (Safety Officer Level 2)\n\n•  Established capability in doing root cause analysis / problem solving. \n•  Experience in Auditing, whether Safety or Quality, is an advantage.\n•  Knowledge on ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 / 45001 is an advantage.\n•  Knowledge on regulatory/ legal compliance is an advantage.\n•  With working experience in the logistics / supply chain industry with background in operations and team management\n\n
