Job Description Our client, a global distributor of parts and accessories for outdoor power equipment, automotive & heavy-duty trucks, and power sports is looking for a Safety Supervisor in their Portland, Tennessee facility. This person will be responsible for assisting in conducting inspections, accident root cause analysis & documentation, facilitate training, and help define the safety culture of the building. Enforcing OSHA and warehouse rules and regulations is main priority of this position. They're looking for someone who can come to safety team meetings with ideas on how to improve and solutions on how to solve safety issues. This person should have the ability to communicate safety concerns to the leadership team but also to the 150-200 employee's on the floor. This role will report into the Director of Operations and will collaborate with the North American Enterprise Safety Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Supervisors. Enforcing OSHA and warehouse rules and regulations is main priority of this position. Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree or Equivalent in safety or related field OSHA 30 Certification AED/CPR Certified, Instructor preferred. A minimum of 1 year warehouse or manufacturing safety experience required. Experience in managing Return to Work, Workers Compensation programs.
