Schedule: This position requires working on mid shift or night shift, alternating between a 3 day work week and a 4 day work week.
(Example: alternating between Sunday – Tuesday / Sunday – Wednesday from 7PM to 7AM)
Pay Rate: $25-$27/hr. DOE
Location: Phoenix, AZ
The principal duties and responsibilities will be:
Conduct safety observations and resolve issues, reporting violations and recommending corrective actions.Communicate safety policies and procedures to workers.Provide support to the field operations team to ensure safety compliance.Prepare reports of findings and recommend preventative measures.Monitor compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.Lead facility tours for new employees, focusing on key safety features.Plan tool and equipment placement for safety and efficiency.Work in a semiconductor cleanroom while following contamination control and safety protocols.Requirements:
OSHA 30 certification required.Experience in safety, manufacturing, and equipment installation or preventative maintenance roles.Knowledge of EH&S principles, safety equipment, and related documentation.Strong communication, teamwork, and independent work skills with the ability to improve work practices.High School Diploma/GED.Proficient in Microsoft applications.Flexibility to cover shifts as needed.Ability to pass drug screen and background check.Preferred:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.Skilled active listener with excellent customer support abilities.Focused on quality workmanship and attention to detail.Self-driven and adaptable to change.Experience with cranes, motorized pallet movers, ladders, working on platforms, and handling chemicals.Management experience in a semiconductor fab/sub-fab.Safety training and certifications.Physical Effort/Activities:
