Summary:
Manages the daily operations of the administrative functions in the Oncology Department of Saint Anne�s Hospital as well as providing support to the administrative needs of the Oncology physician group. Supports functions including scheduling resource utilization charge capture and administrative staffing.

Supports the administrative needs of the physician group at Saint Anne�s Hospital Brown University Health.
Manages multiple calendars creating reports reconciling charges and office notes coordinating and assisting in meetings and accreditation processes.
Manages the ACR accreditation process and assist in supporting the Commission on Cancer accreditation.
Assists in hospital credentialing license renewals CME records and updating CVs for physicians as needed.
Assist with physician competency tracking physician reappointment and onboarding as needed.
Assist in triaging network/desktop technology issues prioritize and escalate problems.
Leads the weekly Managers meeting.
Coordinate Radiation Oncology quarterly QA/QI and M&M meetings.
Works closely with department chiefs and program director on projects related to Oncology.
Responsible for direct supervision of administrative staff as assigned by the Administrative Director.
Maintains effective and appropriate staffing.
Completes staff annual performance reviews.
Organizes orientation for new hires.
Provides training and development for employees to support professional and personal growth enhance job performance and improve operational effectiveness.
Holds monthly staff meetings.
Coordinates office supply purchasing maintenance and repairs of office equipment.
Organizes work within the department to maximize personnel resources and provide the most efficient service.
Regularly assess departmental morale addresses employee concerns and reports employee issues to Human Resources and/or Administrator as appropriate.
Works collaboratively with Administrator co-workers and other departments to deliver the most efficient services and resolve issues as observed.
Maintains statistical data as requested.
Works closely with Patient Access and Fiscal Services as needed. Investigates denials and reports results of investigations to appropriate parties.
Collects data from departmental patient satisfaction surveys and distributes results as appropriate.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Associates Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Three or more years in a supervisory role in a medical setting with demonstrated organizational and leadership skills and computer proficiency skills. Computer expertise to include Word Excel Powerpoint Meditech and Mosaiq. Excellent oral and written communication skills
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Supervises administrative staff as assigned as well as providing functional guidance to Oncology Department staff as needed.
