About The Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate Market Director, Accounts & Brokers, Australia to drive revenue growth and establish WeWork as the premier provider of flexible real estate solutions and services. 

This dynamic role combines relationship management, business development, and strategic execution, focusing on broker and agency partnerships and client account development across Australia. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of key accounts, build trusted relationships, uncover opportunities, and contribute to WeWork’s growth strategy.

Account and Relationship Management:

Manage a portfolio of 35-50 territory focused accounts across Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, ensuring seamless international coordination as required.

Build and maintain trusted relationships with Australian/Pacific agency and broker partners, positioning WeWork as the preferred vendor for flexible workspace solutions.

Act as a WeWork Brand Ambassador by educating partners, delivering compelling presentations, and attending industry events.

Be responsible for growing your portfolio of accounts by going after new accounts, pitching the WeWork value proposition and acquiring new logos on the WeWork platform 

Be responsible for retaining and growing your portfolio of accounts by having recurring high value touchpoints with various stakeholders. 

Collaborate with leasing teams leaders  to ensure careful execution of large transactions

Work closely with leaders in the global Accounts organization and leaders across functions to ensure exceptional member experience to accounts in the team's book of business. 

Be responsible for reporting to leadership on your performance and forecast performance in recurring cadence.

Be responsible for  upskilling the team, and optimizing productivity per individual contributor

Business Development and Deal Execution:

Identify unique client challenges and propose tailored solutions leveraging WeWork’s offerings.

Cultivate and execute business development opportunities and achieve quarterly goal quotas.

Align with  various leasing teams to ensure proper execution of deals

Support the leasing team with complex account deals and development strategies

Strategic Engagement and Collaboration:

Develop and execute outreach strategies, including arranging events, education sessions, portfolio reviews, and targeted account engagements.

Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Real Estate Advisory, and Leasing teams to optimize the potential new member/member experience to streamline deal execution.

Leverage data-driven insights to prioritize accounts, forecast business opportunities, and refine WeWork’s product and go-to-market strategies.

Operational Excellence:

Maintain up-to-date prospecting and active pipelines to ensure accurate forecasts.

Gain internal buy-in from Leasing Leadership, consult Legal for revisions and recommendations, and align the cross functional stakeholders throughout the sales process.

Respond to and manage partner requests by collaborating internally to resolve issues promptly and effectively.

About You

4+ years of experience with proven track record in account management, business development, or sales, preferably in real estate, flexible workspace, or related industries.

Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across regional and international markets.

Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with experience managing complex transactions.

Data-driven and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple deals and priorities simultaneously.

A creative and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of identifying innovative solutions to meet client needs and drive results.
