In Greece we conduct business through EDPS, which is one of the leading FINTECH companies in Greece specializing in Payments Processing and Advanced Payment Solutions. Our goal is to be the go-to solution for large retailers across all sectors and offer cutting edge technology to accept and process electronic payments on both physical location (POS) and eCommerce environments.

We are currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Sales Account Executive to join our team.

Summary of This Role

Responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses. Activities include pricing, customer segmentation, customer presentations, account sign-up and activation, and account management. Primarily field sales to area businesses; depending on scale, some business may be conducted over the phone.

About the role

Coordinate sales and business care for customers in the company

Follow the sales strategy to achieve the region's sales plans

Participate in projects concerning the large customer segment in terms of maintenance and sales

Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services

Serve customers by selling products and meeting customer needs

Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales

Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales

Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses

Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques

Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments

Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management

Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Organisation and implementation of standardisation of work in sales units

Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

About you

To be considered for this role, here are the skills we’re looking for:

University Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is desirable

Three (3) plus years of experience in sales in a similar role. Experience within the POS sales and/or merchant acquiring industry would be beneficial

Excellent knowledge of MS Office and CRM Software

Excellent command of the Greek/ English language (both written and verbally)

Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Highly organized, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to multi task
