Sales Account Executive- Automotive OEM's- Remote USA

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.


Responsible for generating revenue through Strategic Named Accounts and/or key vertical markets using a strategic approach.  Understands and sells solutions for high level business problems with general assistance, incorporating all PLM product lines.  Establishes and maintains customer relationship independently at the line management level, and with coaching/support at the senior management and executive levels.  

The Sales Executive is a key sales role that directly interfaces with small, medium, and large assigned accounts.  Key areas of focus are within Automotive and Transportation Industry overlapping High-Tech and Mobility Industries. The Sales Executive is responsible for creating and growing the business within their account(s) to meet/exceed financial and business objectives. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for generating revenue through existing customers and new business/account pursuits.  Understands and sells solutions for high level business problems independently incorporating all Siemens DI SW product lines.  Establishes and maintains customer relationships at the line management level and senior management/executive levels.

DRIVE BUSINESS RESULTS
Meets/exceeds annual sales targets (revenue, bookings, billings, etc.), maximizes individual sales opportunities. Able to create effective proposals that link our solution to the customer business.  Able to leverage our pricing, packaging and business models to maximize returns and unique business value.  Effectively negotiates customer agreements.

DEVELOP ACCOUNTS
Develops important and effective relationships within accounts including key Executives, translates customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value, ensures the Siemens DI SW team delivers business value to the Account(s), builds effective account business plans and executes upon the plan, builds, maintains and grows opportunity pipeline within Account(s), uses sound call planning to drive business results and makes continuous improvement in moving Siemens DI SW from vendor to trusted advisor.

EXECUTES STRONG BUSINESS PRACTICES
Provides timely, accurate and detailed forecasts, effectively leverages chosen sales processes, tools and methodologies, provides effective internal information as requested, and constructs internal/external presentations in an effective and professional manner.

LEADS EXTENDED SALES TEAM
Coordinates, influences and orchestrates all of the appropriate resources for Account and/or Opportunity development, able to build and influence a global/virtual team (sales, support and consulting), develops strong working relations across various industry sales teams and functions (finance, operations, division, etc.).


CONTRIBUTES TO THE BROADER SIEMENS DI SW TEAM
Makes contributions to Siemens DI SW outside of Account(s)/territory; for example, participates on core team, brings new ideas into business and develops sales tools or new approaches.

Position Overview

Managing, nurturing, and expanding a few existing enterprise customers, as well as, finding, creating, and developing new opportunities within potential growth accounts. Create new SaaS revenue opportunities within small to no footprint accounts Expand existing customer’s footprint with new product sales and opportunities Grow adoption of existing solutions by expanding seat counts and added on modules Sales Executive would support the accounts in the Automotive industry under Scott Hooper.  Previous team of 6 Sales Executives, now down to 4 Sales Executives. This position backfills an existing role and covers current accounts for growth, adoption, and development.

Responsible for generating new ARR through growth and enterprise level accounts.  Understands our go to market strategy to sell solutions for high level business problems while incorporating all DISW product lines.  Establishes and maintains customer relationships at the line management level and senior management/executive levels. Build customer relationships at all levels: users to C-level.  Work across the DI organization to synchronize account strategies and execution. Provides timely, accurate and detailed forecasts, effectively leverages chosen sales processes, tools and methodologies, provides effective internal information as requested, and constructs internal/external presentations in an effective and professional manner. Develops important and effective relationships within accounts including key Executives, translates customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value, ensures the Siemens DI SW team delivers business value to the Account(s), builds effective account business plans and executes upon the plan. Builds, maintains and grows opportunity pipeline within Account(s), uses sound meeting planning to drive business results and makes continuous improvement in moving Siemens DI SW from vendor to trusted advisor. Achieve set target quota Develop ‘growth’ accounts Grow and expand existing accounts Hunt all accounts: growth or enterprise level accounts Create account and opportunity strategies for growth and enterprise accounts Find and create double comma opportunities Convert maintenance to SaaS Sell SaaS software to achieve ARR

Minimum Requirements:

·           High School Diploma

·           At least 3+ years of experience B2B selling of some type of engineering or manufacturing related software, such as Cloud/IoT solutions, R&D software, CAD/CAE, Simulation software (Prefer Product Lifecycle Mangt-PLM- but not required). ·           At least 3+ years working in or with Automotive, Transportation or Heavy Equipment industries

·           Must be open to up to 50% travel, mainly domestic

·           Experience using a CRM (preferably Salesforce), MS Office Suite

·           Must currently reside in the continental USA.  ** This is a firm requirement **

The total cash compensation range for this position is $106,100 to $212,200 with 50% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
